CLA GAMEFAIR 2013

Last year's show was rained off, but this year's looks like being a real hottie. Just as we did when the show was at Blenheim in 2011, we will be sharing with Cotswold Gold. Charlie from Cotswold Gold has just been awarded Cotswold Food Hero at the Cotswold Life Food Awards, so we are very proud to be sharing with him.
The show is from 19th-21st July at Ragley Hall, Alcester not far from Stratford-upon-Avon

First Show of 2013

Our first show this year will again be The Edible Garden Show on the Royal Showground at Stoneley in Warwickshire from 15th-17th March.

2012
 THE CLA GAMEFAIR IS CANCELLED
Very sadly, this year's CLA gamefair, which was due to be held at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, has been cancelled due to all the rain, rain and more rain. Hopefully the weather will relent before we are due to be at Chatsworth Country Fair at the end of August.

11th December
Following a great show in Abergavenny in September, we are returning on Sunday for the Christmas fair. Our stand is number 5 in the Market Place. In honour of a very successful Nordic Masterclass by food writer Signe Johansen at September's Festival, we have a few signed copies of her excellent book, Scandilicious: an ideal Christmas gift for your favourite food enthusiast.
We have lots of festive treats for you and will be decorating our stand in a suitably festive manner, complete with a mini wind-up Santa! Hopefully, it will look something like this:

September Shows
A busy month for us with the following shows (hope to see you enthusing there):
10th-11th Ludlow Food Festival
We are delighted to be exhibiting for the first time ever in the beautiful Shropshire Town of Ludlow for one of the shows of the year.
This was Britain's first successful food and drink festival when it started back in 1995. It's grown considerably since then, with large numbers of visitors from throughout the UK, as well as from overseas.
As a bonus, we are delighted that on the Friday 16th, the programme includes a "Ready Steady Cook" style competition with the students of Leeds City College using our fruit vinegars.

17th-18th Abergavenny Food Festival
Another first for us! This year we will be making our first appearance at this prestigious food festival. Come and find us in the Brewery Yard with lots of other great producers. If you would like to see what the festival is like you can watch a video of last year's.

Thame Food Festival is a wonderful showcase for local artisan food and drink producers. It is a celebration of everything that is right with food and is a great, bustling, fun filled FREE family day out in the centre of this historic Oxfordshire market town.
Visitors can choose to watch local and celebrity chef demonstrations, including for the first time in 2011 chefs from   Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, or hear expert opinion and talks on selected food topics. There are food based treasure hunts, hands-on food making stalls and a huge variety of wonderful exhibitor food stalls to sample and buy from. Events will also include children’s workshops and competitions, street music and street entertainment.

Two BIG Fruity Shows, Two Stately Homes of England

For the first time ever, we will be getting all fruity at Woburn Abbey this weekend...AND we will have our new 100ml bottles for sale, so get there early before they all go!
The magnificent surroundings of Woburn Abbey lend themselves so well to what promises to be another successful and busy year in the grounds of this splendid Bedfordshire stately home of the Duke and Duchess of Bedford.
And, while you are there, don't miss the wonderful array of art included in the Woburn ARTBEAT 2011 display organised by Bedford Street Gallery. The Gallery is working to develop this into an annual event with more artists, larger exhibitions and live events to benefit the artists and Woburn.

In partnership with Frosts Garden Centres, this dream event for gardeners and foodies will be held on 15-17th July 2011

The following weekend, we transfer our fruitiness to a little closer to my home, Blenheim Palace. After years of enjoying family walks in the grounds of Blenheim, it will be a real pleasure to be fighting the crowds of game folk to show just what a fabulous sauce our award-winning Blackberry Vinegar can make for pigeon (as shown by Stephanie Moon on Great British Menu), venison, duck...

This is a very popular show and the signposts for traffic queues havealready been up for weeks, so we will be doing our best to make your visit worthwhile. To make a difference, we are exhibiting with Cotswold Gold Rapeseed oil, the ideal accompaniment to our fruit and herb vinegars. And we have a surprise treat for you, too...but you'll have to come along to see for yourself!

The CLA Gamefair is at Blenheim on 22-24 July.
For ticket information, please see the CLA Gamefair website

There will be lots of stalls to including ourselves and Sciolti Chocolates, so do come and support us all and have fun.
